Experience
Libby joined TMP in 1992. She set up the firm’s compliance systems for the heavily monitored and regulated insolvency industry.
She has led the refinancing firm’s involvement in a number of complex legal cases and has extensive insolvency and turnaround finance experience.
She sits as a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Solutions User Group Committee, The IPS User Group. (IPS is the software support package used by most of the insolvency profession).
Libby is Editor in charge of technical release updates for Douglas MacDonald’s Insolvency Volumes which is an extensive on-screen guide for the insolvency and turnaround professionals. It incorporates both legislation and annotated text for ease of reading.
Libby also sits with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Turnaround Finance Group, the “Turnaround Finance Group”.
She is responsible for the public profile of the group and event coordination and is involved in many of TMP’s company turnarounds, solvent and insolvent restructuring activity as well as special projects.
She was involved with the set up, investment and management of Fantastic Racing (www.fantasticracing.com) and handed over the reigns to local management in 2008.
Libby currently runs some of the firms high profile recovery cases.
