We take our work very seriously and are proud of many of the deals we have advised on and structured. We are equally proud of the insolvency appointments we have worked through and of the distressed investments TMP has made.
Over the years we have received many compliments and thanks. There are too many to include them all here however a few are highlighted below:
"I know I thanked you on the day, but I just wanted to re-iterate how pleased I am with the way you in particular [Melissa Jackson] and the MacDonald Partnership handled the liquidation of the company. I realise it is not finalised yet but you delivered everything that you promised and I hoped for and I couldn't be happier with the way it came together; despite a few moments when my nerves came to the fore! For what was obviously a difficult experience for me, you handled everything with calm professionalism and I shall certainly recommend you to any colleagues who may find themselves in a similar situation."
[HM - Company director]
"Melissa Jackson acted as IP when my core market disappeared and my company got into financial difficulty. Having not been in this position before I hadn't a clue about what the CVA process involved and what position an IP would take.
Despite my worst fears, Melissa was non-judgmental and supportive in all her dealings. As IP Melissa needs to ensure that she is acting in creditors' best interests. She somehow managed to respect this baying crowd's position while at the same time demonstrating empathy and compassion about my plight.
I met a couple of IPs before Melissa and believe the decision to work with her and her team at TMP was one of the best decisions I have made for a while. The CVA has been approved and I am now 100 percent focused on rebuilding the business and honouring the terms of the arrangement.I would happily recommend Melissa to anyone who is going through a period of financial distress."
[JR Director of Company in CVA]
"I find it particularly satisfying to see a excellent outcome of a case which was fraught with difficulties. A very good result well done"
[MP - HMRC Specialist Investigations]
[JB - Design company]
"A company fraught with difficulties, competing banks, unions, subcontractors, overseas operations, pensions to name a few. The planning, structuring and sheer determination to conclude this deal in such a specialist industry and maximise all parties interests demonstrates TMP is at the top of its game. This company, part of only 3 worldwide would not have survived without TMPs involvement and drive."
[KS - CRO during restructuring implementation]
"Neil Chesterton managed the transition from Perfect Day to Ablestoke in an exemplary manner. His communications and provision of situational updates on a daily basis were excellent - especially over the tough Christmas and New Year period. He had a strong sense of urgency combined with a high degree of empathy for the situation we had to work through. Neil managed the project and day to day tasks until the job was completed – It was an excellent job."
[NM, COO - A financial services company]
[RS - Individual creditor]
[SS - Barrister]
[KW - Creditor]
"Neil Chesterton has been part of my inner circle of trusted advisers and preferred suppliers for many years. Neil and his partners are highly regarded by their peers within the turnaround and insolvency profession specifically and throughout the accountancy market generally. As a partner in a firm actively engaged in the turnaround community I'm always happy to recommend Neil when we're conflicted."
[DS - Turnaround and Tax specialist]
"Just to let you know we both went up to the Royal Courts of Justice yesterday and managed to get the court charges waivered and proceeded with Bankruptcy petition which has now been approved.
So both myself and [X] are now officially Bankrupt and have to wait for the Official Receiver to contact us.
Many Thanks for all your help and guidance regarding this and hopefully we can now move on and start a fresh.
I appreciate everything you did and explained to us at the meeting and without this I don't think we could have managed. "
